Year 6
For the greater good
In Year 6, the school leaders integrate with the wider community and develop communication skills for public speaking about the environment, by being members of the ‘Eco Echidnas’. The children strive to aim for being a ‘no landfill’ school. They develop kitchen gardens, recycle all materials and promote being waste wise to all members of the school community. They sell beeswax wraps and recycled paper to fundraise for environmental causes including adopting endangered species.
